You may not have known that some of the trees in your backyard are some of the fastest growing trees. Many fast growing trees are common tree types such as these:
- Weeping Willow: Weeping Willows are beautiful trees that can grow 3 to 8 feet per year. They also can reach a mature height anywhere between 40-50 feet.
- Tulip Tree: Tulip trees, otherwise known as American Tulip Poplars, can grow up to 6 feet per year and reach a mature height of around 70 feet.
- Quaking Aspen: The Quaking Aspen is most notable for its ability to grow up to 5 feet per year. It can grow 15-30 feet in just three years and can reach a mature height of 40-50 feet.
- Leyland Cypress: This evergreen can grow at a rapid rate of about 3 feet a year and has a columnar shape, making it popular for landscaping.
